Aging Pet Care

About

The resource we wished we'd had.

Pets live longer than they used to. More of us are caring for an old dog or cat, and most of what's online is either a sales page or a scare. This is neither.

What we do

Give owners the information, tools and comparisons they need to give an older pet a good life: when a pet becomes a senior, what the signs of age-related illness look like, and which insurers still take an older animal.

Informed owners make better decisions. So we keep the fluff out and the numbers in.

What we promise

  • Useful, not medical

Practical guidance for daily care. Diagnosis and treatment stay with your veterinarian, always.

  • Honest recommendations

We may earn a commission from insurance links. We only list plans we would consider for our own animals, and the commission never changes your price.

  • Transparent

How we operate, how affiliate links work, and what we do with data are all written down. See the privacy policy.

  • Compassionate

The bond is real and the end is hard. We write about both without flinching and without cruelty.

Who's behind it

A small team with backgrounds in veterinary medicine, the pet industry and publishing. Profiles coming; the emails work now.
